What to include in a sportswear tech pack

Define the product

Include front and back technical drawings, garment description, intended activity and target fit. Call out every visible panel, seam, pocket, opening and finishing detail.

• Flat sketches with callouts
• Base size measurements
• Fabric composition and weight
• Color references or Pantone codes

Map branding and artwork

Show exact logo positions, dimensions and decoration methods. Supply vector artwork when possible and identify any variable player names, numbers or sponsor marks.

Set measurable tolerances

A measurement chart should explain where and how each point is measured, along with acceptable tolerances. Add construction notes for seam type, stitch density, elastic tension and reinforcement in high-stress areas.
